Ok, so I was browsing the internet looking for that one perfect camera. A camera with 12mp or higher, a 1080p HD resolution with Zooming capabilities of 36x zoom or better. One that shoots quality pictures. I was willing to spend good money on something nice. not too much, but just enough for an awesome camera. I ended up coming across this small camcorder on Amazon. The panasonic hc-v500k camcorder. Not, exactly what I was looking for but it had a really nice look to it.
normally, I look at the reviews, specs and features before I make a purchase. but that was not the case this time. It was 6:30pm, and I was rushing to get to the gym because they close at 8pm on Saturdays. So, I looked through the reviews briskly and purchased it. So, Now I was waiting for my camcorder to arrive. A week later goes by, here I'm waiting for the camcorder like a little kid waiting for christmas to come. It's just a regular feeling I get whenever I make a purchase online! So my camcorder finally gets here, and I'm looking for any damages before I start getting too comfortable with it. I played around with it for like maybe half an hour, before I realized that the camcorder was nowhere near my expectations. now, here I was utterly dissapointed with this purchase. As fast as I placed the order on the item, I requested a return. I know this happens to the best of us, when we place orders online and where not too sure about the item. it's not like going to the store and getting a first hand up close and personal experience with the item. But, my bigger mistake was not paying too much attention at the reviews. Well, here's a pic of The panasonic hc-v500k camcorder.
Anyway, I resumed the process of Camera hunting. I vowed I would do my homework this time, and make sure I get exactly what I'm looking for! I looked through various digital camera articles of the best cameras. When I narrowed it down to the Canon PowerShot SX50 HS. Here's a picture of it and the link
So according to the website, It has all the specs and features that I was looking for in a camera. The best feature of all, is the extreme zoom capabilities! the website states "It boasts a combined 200X zoom--courtesy of 50X optical zoom and 4X digital zoom--that lets you snap shots from far away. It apparently has one of the best zoom features in a camera! So, I finally came to the conclusion that this was IT! the camera I've been searching for.. And well, the original reason I want a camera with a strong zoom feature is because I just so happen to be a UFO enthusiast. I hope that one day, I will capture some strange extraterrestrial activity high up in the sky. Also, I would love to take pictures of the moon. And use it for travelling and taking pictures of different places. Art is also, one of my things. So, you cant go wrong with photography...
Anyway, Is there anybody who owns the camera with its "extreme zoom capability"? Is it the best one ya got? If not, Do you have better? regarding quality pictures and zoom. And if so, comment on why you believe you have the champion camera of them all. I'd like to hear it ..
